Sopachem is an ISO 9001-2000 certified distributor of instruments and reagents.
Sopachem is focussing on innovative, advanced high tech products especially developed for Medical, Pharmaceutical life sciences (biotechnology) and analytical oriented laboratories.

 

History



Sopachem has started in 1971 in Belgium.
In 1987 the Dutch office was opened.
Sopachem has been part of Rütgerswercke A.G. (Germany) for over 10 years. At that time Sopachem also had R&D and production facilities. In the beginning of 1990 all R&D and production facilities have been stopped or moved to sister companies. At the end of 1996 Sopachem became an independent company.
In October 2005, Sopachem merged with Benelux Biotech, the Life Science division of Benelux Scientific. Sopachem has become an established value in the world of life sciences.

 

Objectives



Sopachem is not just a distribution company. Our role is to look for new and innovative products that fill a gap in the existing market. Thanks to our market knowledge and our scientific background, we can easily identify the potential customers. For our customers, we offer a great amount of added value to our products. We achieve that by a good product know-how and application support. Sopachem offers solutions to the constantly evolving needs of life science labs.

Sopachem has 2 offices : one in Ochten covering the Netherlands and one in Eke, near Ghent covering Belgium and Luxembourg.
Our warehouse facilities include a cold room as well as -20°C and -80°C freezers. Sopachem has meeting rooms where workshops and smaller In-House seminars are organized.
