Edge Biosystems

Founded in 1989, Edge BioSystems was one of the pioneers in DNA sequencing reaction cleanup systems,  which led to its enormously popular PERFORMA® DTR product line.

Through the years, Edge has expanded its product offering to include high-throughput DNA and PCR purification products, most notably our QuickStep2™ line for PCR purification.

Its latest product offering includes competent cells as well as the upcoming electrocompetent cell strains. These cell lines offer the same high transformation efficiencies from single-use tubes to 96-well plates without the need to change protocols.
