Our range of reagent red cells includes the cells for reverse typing, antibody screening, and antibody identification.
All our cell products are more than 35 days stable and are available on standing order at 4-weekly intervals: 13 times per year.
Reverse-CyteŽ
Reverse-CyteŽ is a cell panel of A1 ccddee, A2 CcDee, B ccddee and O CcD.Ee cells in a 5% suspension. Ideal for reverse typing with all common laboratory techniques. The combination of A1 and A2 also provides for an effective way of detecting irregular anti-A1.
Reverse-CyteŽ can also be used together with screening cells for the detection of cold antibodies.
- Reverse typing and detection of irregular anti-A1

Cord Cells
A 3% suspension of group O human cord cells for the identification of cold antibodies.
Screen-CyteŽ
A three cell panel with an optimal antigen configuration ideal for antibody screening. Only with a three cell panel it is possible to have the clinically relevant antigens present in homozygous form. This is important because some weaker antibodies are only detectable if the corresponding antigen is present in homozygous form (dosage effect).
- Rh, MNS, Kidd and Duffy antigens are always present in homozygous form
- Cw and Lua are present in each lot. A lot containing Kpa is available upon request
- Ready-to-use 3% suspension of group O cells suitable for all immunohematological methods
- Optimal antigen configuration for the detection of anti-Lea, anti-Leb, anti-P1
- In addition to the Data-CyteŽ Plus identification panel, Screen-CyteŽ cells can help in the differentiation of multiple antibodies
- A complete system to avoid problems with the compatibility test caused by clinically irrelevant antibodies
Sero-CyteŽ
A two cell panel for antibody screening with Rh antigens always present in homozygous form. Each lot also contains Cw.
Data-CyteŽ Plus
A panel consisting of eleven cells in 3% suspension with the ideal antigen configuration for antibody identification. The individual cells are carefully selected to allow for the identification of both individual antibodies and antibody combinations.

In order to allow for an easy interpretation, in the antigen table antibodies are colored differently according to their reactivity.
