TransIT-TKO® & TransIT-siQUEST® Transfection Reagent
Mirus Bio corporation has developed two highly effective, low toxicity siRNA delivery reagents, the TransIT-TKO® and TransIT-siQUEST® Transfection reagents. Each unique formulation provides a distinct transfection profile for high efficiency, broad-spectrum siRNA delivery into the cell type of interest. Transfections are most effective when performed in complete growth media with no media change required. Mir 2150 and Mir 2110 provide sufficient reagent to perform up to 1,000 transfections in 24-well plates.
Figure 1. Inhibition of Stably Expressed Firefly Luciferase Using the TransIT-siQUEST or TransIT–TKO Reagent. Cell lines stably expressing firefly luciferase were transfected with an anti-firefly luciferase siRNA or the reagent alone controls using either the TransIT-siQUEST or TransIT-TKO Reagent. Twenty-four hours post-transfection, luciferase expression was measured and compared to the reagent alone controls.
TransIT®-siPAK & -siPAK PLUS Kits
The TransIT®-siPAK and -siPAK PLUS Kits offer:
- Trial size aliquots of TransIT-siQUEST® and TransIT-TKO® reagents sufficient to perform up to 100 transfections.
- High efficiency siRNA delivery to a wide variety of mammalian cells.
- Two different formulations with distinct transfection profiles for optimization of siRNA delivery.
- Low cellular toxicity.
- A fluorescein-labeled RNAi delivery control for visualization of delivery in the TransIT®-siPAK PLUS Kit.
