Discngine and Sopachem are now partners! The two companies just concluded a new partnership reserving the exclusive right for Sopachem to distribute Discngine’s latest application called Qualification. The recently launched application, allowing scientists to track liquid handling precision and accuracy, will be distributed by Sopachem in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.

This partnership will enable Discngine to accelerate the pace of Qualification sales activity and Sopachem to add a complementary offer to its already large laboratory equipment portfolio. Both companies expect mutual growth with this agreement.

About Qualification

Discngine Qualification enables scientists to validate the precision and accuracy of their liquid handling systems over time. The application is workflow-based and lets users easily capture their raw data and validate their robotic processes in real operating conditions (already implemented with the most common readers and platforms). The software can combine colorimetry (or fluorimetry) and gravimetry analyses for a more precise performance evaluation and display results in different visualization for a better understanding. After defining qualification requirements, control charts allow users to easily identify drifts and impacts of maintenance operations. Hosted on a secured cloud environment, QA/QC results can be rapidly shared with colleagues, partners, customers and robotic manufacturers.

The Mantis is a programmable, low volume, low dead-volume, non-contact liquid dispenser that can reliably dispense a variety of solutions including those containing beads, cells, proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids and highly concentrated salts.

Low Dead Volume – A pipette tip or tube from a reagent bottle inputs directly into the Mantis’ chip, minimizing dead volume to as little as 6 μL.

Clean – The Mantis’ fluid path is both disposable and washable.

Reliable – The Mantis dispenses using Formulatrix’s patented, positive displacement, non-contact, micro-diaphragm pump technology assuring minimal clogging.

The CryoID p-Chip tagged tubes feature permanent fused memory, which provide a robust indelible code for unbroken chain of custody. The p-Chip is resistant to sterilization by autoclaving, EtO treatment, high G forces, solvents and temperature changes from -196°C to 160°C. The technology uses laser light activation to read the tube’s ID code through heavy frost and extreme cold conditions, eliminating “line of sight” issues associated with traditional bar codes, and has been designed for long term storage at ultra-low temperatures including vapour phase liquid nitrogen.

Labtechnology is a large showroom of new and innovative products to support the daily work of professionals in the laboratory.
For the fourth time, this fair combines an extensive exhibition floor with a content program.
The program of Labtechnology 2015 is organized in collaboration with the Section of Analytical Chemistry (SAC) of the KNCV, the KNCV and the Knowledge Platform Lab Managers. On both days various topics will be addressed. On Wednesday October 7, the “Analytical Challenge” is also on the program, a conference on analytical chemistry.
