Seraseq next-generation sequencing (NGS) reference materials enable the promise of clinical genomics by helping scientists and clinicians build, validate, implement, and standardize better clinical genomics assays. Seraseq reference materials are formatted as purified DNA (gDNA), purified circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), synthetic plasma-like material, as well as formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) material. These formats serve as full-process reference materials for end-to-end monitoring of NGS workflows:

• Nucleic acid extraction
• RNA and DNA quantitation
• NGS library construction

• Bioinformatic analysis

These highly multiplexed reference materials are manufactured in cGMP-compliant, ISO 13485-certified facilities and provide a consistent and reliable positive and negative control material for NGS assay development, validation, clinical deployment, lot-to-lot testing, in-kit controls, and daily run control QC.

Allelic Frequency selection

The SeraCare reference materials are the only references that let you select the specific allelic frequency (AF), or a mixed set of AF’s to cover the total range of your assay. By specifying AF% in the reference materials it is now possible to confirm the sensitivity of your complete workflow. Never doubt your assay or your sensitivity anymore. Confirm the diagnosis with absolute certainty and decisions for specific drug treatment will become more accurate then ever.
